How does Kiwi Can work?
Kiwi Can is a whole school programme with all children attending a Kiwi can lesson once a week, every week of the school year. Its focus is on making a change for every child in a school.
Kiwi Can Leaders deliver high-energy and interactive lessons that contain a range of physical, mental and creative challenges. Each lesson is based on a theme which is decided by the school. The programme is designed to broaden and enhance the learning experience provided by the school system.
Themes include:
Relationships (e.g. friendship, conflict, teamwork, respect)
Integrity (e.g. responsibility, trust, consequences)
Resilience (e.g. goal setting, motivation, perseverance)
Health (healthy eating, healthy action)
Environment (heritage, nature, community, New Zealand)
