Marion Short
Chief Executive

Marion joined FYD at the start of 2012, following three years as the Chief Executive Officer of WasteMINZ.  She has broad experience at a senior management level in both the corporate and not-for-profit space across a range of sectors, including financial services, fast-moving consumer goods and franchising.

Graeme Dingle

Graeme Dingle ONZM, MBE
Co-founder & Executive Trustee

Graeme has founded four successful charitable trusts, including the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre. He has achieved more than 200 mountaineering and adventuring firsts throughout the world and has published 10 books. He received the MBE for services to outdoor pursuits, the Award of New Zealand for services to recreation and sport and an ONZM for services to youth.

 Kate Anderson

Kate Anderson  

General Manager - Community Partner Support

Kate has a law degree and has significant experience in franchising, accounting and corporate governance in both business and charitable sectors. She is looking forward to using that experience to support the FYD community partners in their work and is delighted to be working for FYD.

Lee Carr             
Operations Manager

Lee started with FYD in 2012. Lee brings a wealth of experience from management roles in private, public and charitable sectors including business management training and coaching.

Annette Mouat BBS, CA 
Finance & Administration Manager

Annette joined FYD in June 2002 and has worked as a financial controller for several corporates. In her last role she was the accountant for a non-profit organisation in Wellington.

Michelle Harris          
Accounts Assistant

Michelle joined FYD in September 2012, as the Accounts Assistant.  She has worked for a variety of different companies and sectors in accounts and administration.

Donna joined FYD in January 2014 as Executive Assistant. She has worked for several private and public service providers and recently returned from the UK where she worked for the past 4 years.

Programme Development & Training

Victoria Hood

Victoria Hood
National Programmes Manager

Victoria joined FYD in 2008 after spending thirteen years working in the youth and training sectors. She has developed, delivered and or assessed programmes for the Auckland District Health Board, University of Auckland, Auckland Institute of Technology, and the Department of Corrections. Victoria relies heavily on establishing, encouraging and maintaining relationships with diverse networks to ensure quality service delivery and the continual understanding and application of best practice. Her specialist interests are programme development, and youth participation and engagement.

  Christine Jones 

Programme Developer and Trainer 

Christine (CJ) came to FYD in September 2013 with over 20 years background and qualifications in youth and adult education and training. She has developed, delivered, coached and evaluated training in a variety of fields. CJ is committed to promoting holistic youth wellness, recognising Maori as Tangata Whenua of Aotearoa New Zealand, and is delighted to be working as a Programme Developer & Trainer for FYD.

 Julie Moore

Julie Moore MA Hons
Research & Evaluation Manager

Julie Moore has a Master of Arts in Psychology. She majored in psychology and sociology for her BA, and attained 1st class honours in psychology. She has tutored in social and community psychology at the University of Auckland. Her specialist interest is community psychology.

Bridgette Gillham
Research & Evaluation Co-ordinator

Bridgette joined the Foundation of Youth Development team in May 2011. Bridgette spent many years living abroad, returning to complete a BSC in Psychology and a PG Dip Sci in Health Psychology at Auckland University.

Katrien Brown                     
Research & Evaluation Co-ordinator

I moved to Auckland from Hawkes Bay in January 2013 and joined FYD in May 2013 as a Research and Evaluation Co-ordinator. I have a BA in Library Science and I have worked as a research librarian in  mainly academic and special libraries (medical and legal) in Belgium, South Africa, Northern Ireland, South Korea and Hawkes Bay, NZ. I have also filled various volunteering roles in my son’s swimming club in Hawkes Bay. I am looking forward to using my research and database skills to make a positive contribution to the Research team at FYD.

Claire Baldwin    
Sponsor Care Manager

Claire joined FYD in March 2013 and comes with over 12 years’ experience in Fundraising and Marketing with non-profits in New Zealand and the UK. Her most recent role saw her overseeing the iconic 40 Hour Famine at World Vision. It was in this last role that Claire gained an insight into the disparity that can exist for kids in schools and where she became passionate about making a difference to young Kiwi’s.  She is excited about joining a talented team who want to make their mark on young Kiwi lives.

Paul Martin      
Business Development Manager

After graduating from Oxford with a BA/MA (Hons) in Philosophy and Psychology Paul spent 12 years in the Investment Banking business in London and Singapore. On moving to NZ he got involved in TV production and financing. He subsequently took on the role of Executive Chairman of the Devonport Victoria Theatre Charitable Trust and successfully protecting and then raising the funds to renovate and re-open the historic cinema and theatre building. Paul joined FYD in August 2013.

Nicky Davis        
Marketing & Communications Advisor

Nicky has a degree in Business Studies (majoring in marketing ) coupled with nine years of marketing experience within corporate business and not for profits in NZ . Her expertise is in marketing, digital strategy and communications. Nicky is excited about working for FYD and hopes to create a great digital strategy for the future.

Kate Sanderson            
Marketing Funding Co-ordinator

Kate joined FYD in August 2012, following 4 ½ years as the Grants Co-ordinator at a prominent New Zealand children’s charity. Kate is excited to face new challenges at FYD and, as a mother of 3, really values the opportunity to assist with growing the potential of New Zealand’s youth.

Monique Sanna
Fundraising Administrator

Monique joined FYD in August 2013 to support Kate in the Grants team.  She gained a Diploma in Event Management through AUT in 2006 and has been contracting in a variety of roles around her young family ever since.  FYD seemed like the logical next step for her and she is excited to be part of an organisation with a youth focus, who is giving something back to New Zealand.

Kristyn Chandler-Yates
Event Co-ordinator

Kristyn joined FYD in October 2012 after organising events within the corporate sector for the past six years. She has a Diploma in Event Management from AUT and is passionate about creating great events. She is excited to join an organisation such as FYD and use her experience in a new way to help the youth of New Zealand.

 Stas Popov

Stas Popov     
IT Manager

A Microsoft-certified system administrator, Stas Popov joined Project K in 2003, a year after emigrating from Russia. He is responsible for system administration, data analysis, developing applications and web design.
