Kiwi Can stars in Taihape Area School!

For the first time, Kiwi Can started in Taihape Area School this term, much to the delight of students and teachers.  Students are attending a Kiwi Can lesson once a week, every week of the school year, delivered by vibrant and enthusiastic Kiwi Can Leaders. 

Jason Fellingham, a teacher from Taihape Area School says "Kiwi Can is all about instilling a sense of pride and confidence in our students and the Leaders are fantastic role-models and examples of what it means to be a 'Kiwi". 

Rangitkei Kiwi Can Co-ordinator Dot Mattocks says, "We are thrilled to have appointed two young local women, Shari Chase and Millicent Williams as Kiwi Can Leaders at Taihape Area School.  These Leaders have the enthusiasm and passion necessary for connecting and working with young people."
