Businesses invest in youth

Investment in today's youth influences tomorrow's community and thanks to the support of 13 local businesses FYD's flagship programme, Project K was launched in Marlborough in September.

"It is community support which makes the programmes succeed," says Graeme Dingle, FYD Co-founder.  "The support usually increases once adults and parents have witnessed the transformation that the young participants make."

Marlborough locals Karen Walshe and Rachel Anderson established the programme earlier this year and in September 12 students from Marlborough Boys' and Marlborough Girls' Colleges set off on their 14-month journey.
