Bequests

Bequests

A bequest is a gift that is made through your Will.
The most commonly used forms of bequest are:

  • Giving a gift of cash or an asset (this includes shares)
  • Giving a percentage of your estate
  • Giving the residue of your estate after you have provided for those close to you
  • Giving all or part of your life insurance

The Graeme Dingle Foundation

The Graeme Dingle Foundation has been established as a permanent endowment that will:

  • Ensure the longevity of the Foundation for Youth Development's programmes and the research and evaluation which is a vital component.
  • Ensure that future generations of young New Zealanders will achieve their potential thereby contributing to thriving families, communities and the nation.

In 2000, the Government generously contributed $2.5m to establish our endowment and it is our intention to build this investment to a point where it can contribute significantly to our national support structure and make the Foundation for Youth Development truly sustainable.

The Trust Deed safeguards the fund so that the capital will always remain intact.

You can make a lasting difference to young lives by making a grant now or leaving money in your will to the Graeme Dingle Foundation. We will invest your money so that the interest can ensure that young people across New Zealand are benefiting from the Foundation for Youth Development Trust's work for many years to come.

A bequest to the Graeme Dingle Foundation will serve as a lasting memorial to your support of young people and the future of New Zealand. If you will like to discuss making a bequest to the Foundation for Youth Development please contact
