Stars Canterbury students shine at Adventure Camp:
Earlier this year 11 Year 9 students and four Year 12 Peer Mentors departed on their annual Stars Adventure Camp held at Amuri Area School Outdoor Education Lodge, Windy Point, in the Lewis Pass.
Students participated in a range of activities throughout the week, from abseiling off a 50 metre cliff above a flooded river, to rock climbing and going on the famous mud run, which is always a hit.
The group displayed terrific teamwork and determination along with a noticeable shift in their attitude, giving all activities 100% effort. Through pushing each other to their limits, students and Peer Mentors gained a new appreciation for each other and the things which they can achieve both individually and collectively.
