Impacting positively on the lives of young New Zealanders.

AdventureThe Foundation for Youth Development is a leading organisation managing proven programmes designed to lift the skills, motivations and achievements of young New Zealanders which in turn is delivering wider economic and social benefits to New Zealand.

We aim to inspire all school age New Zealand children to reach their full potential through programmes that help build self-esteem, promote good values and which teach valuable life, eduction and health skills.  Current programmes include Kiwi Can, Project K and Stars.

Our programmes have the potential to significantly benefit New Zealand through a youth population who are better educated, have enhanced employment prospects, greater self-esteem and focus, are more balanced, healthier and motivated.

A word from our Founders

Graeme Dingle & Jo-anne WilkinsonGraeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson

Through our adventures and professional lives, we have learned the value of having a dream, setting goals, perseverance, teamwork and sound values to fall back on in difficult times.  These key elements form the basis of the Foundation's work.

We are a lucky country with our wonderful outdoors, our close communities, our willingness to get involved and our determination to succeed.  It is these attributes that our programmes utilise to enable young New Zealanders to find a sense of direction and purpose in their lives.

We have dedicated a substantial part of our lives to the development of young people's lives and we invite you to join us on this journey.  Your help is crucial in ensuring that our next generation of Kiwi parents, business and community leaders can continue to develop the legacy of a positive, successful and caring New Zealand.
